So I love tiny spaces... but I make big messes. I've just moved to another small space where luckily I have a 'dining area' that I am converting to my studio space, so I have an actual bedroom, I can walk away from my mess and pass out since I tend to get creative late at night till I can't function anymore. This post is about solving my small work space problem, but these first three photos I am a big fan of, just they won't help me
today so lets admire them and carry on....
(admire more @ http://www.bonbon.co.uk)

I have a growing
collection of trunks and this work station would blend in so seamlessly, I think I'm in love. This Mayfair Steamer Secretary Trunk is available from Restoration Hardware and the
value price of
$3695.... so I will keep drooling over this one. I'm surprising attached to the trunks I already own, so someday maybe I'll construct this for myself but for now I need more table
space...

Treehugger.com has a nice lil' post of some various fold down d
esks with links to purchase. this simple desk, a favorite of mine, but I need more surface space, guess I'll keep looking...

Secretary desk are just simply brilliant. They are a classic, and I
always love them and while the concept tends to stay the same there are still countless options and varieties out there. This one pictured is very similar to mine... but mine has already found its home in my entry way... plus I need something pretty strong... my search continues...

And then the answer...

I love the station to the left from Valet Organizers http://www.valetorganizers.com, but I do not have the budget for custom cabinetry (actual budget $0 and toe lint)... but I had previously seen a wire shelving work station before and things began to click. I may not have money, but I do have "the Seville Classics STR05813 Expandable Closet Organizer" (found on Amazon.com) I used in my last place since I had no closet, and some larger standard wire shelving I had for warehouse storage. I also had previously seen a wire shelving work station similar to picture above in yellow. So now just to put these pieces together and we'll see what comes out.... to be continued....
